TNR is the most humane and effective way to manage feral and stray cat populations. Cats are trapped, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and ear-tipped before being returned to their colony, where a caretaker provides food and shelter. Friendly cats and kittens are placed for adoption when possible.
By preventing reproduction, TNR helps reduce colony size over time. It also minimizes nuisance behaviors like yowling, fighting, and spraying while improving the cats' health. With TNR, communities benefit from natural rodent control, and the cats live safer, healthier lives.
A feral cat is an untamed domestic cat. Stray cats are not considered feral unless you cannot touch or pick them up. Feral cats do not live in the house with human contact.
If you have a feral cat colony please call to arrange an appointment and to discuss fees (if any).
